About Me

My photo
I love going to different expos, seminars and all about parenting and kids. Trying desperately to manage my time between family and career, relatives and friends...among other things. Shy at first but warms easily with other people. Sometimes being mistaken for a snub...but well...

T H A N K Y O U

I had 4 near miscarriages during my last pregnancy. When pregnant, they say that you are also risking your life. But of course, all mother would be more than willing to risk their life for their babies.

Anyway, it was the reason why I need to resign from my job as call center agent. It's either I keep my job or lost the baby. Of course, me and my husband chose to have the baby. We were actually hoping to have a girl this time. Then, Lord gave us another boy; which we are also grateful because gender doesn't matter as long as the baby is healthy.

Going back, I was in and out of the hospital every 2weeks at that time. The OB-Gyne told that it was a low-lying placenta that later developed into Placenta Previa totallis wherein placenta first and then baby at the woman's cervix.

Then I was confined at the hospital for more than a month before I gave birth because of premature contractions, complete bed rest at the hospital. That was the defining moment for all of us, my parents, my brother and my 2 sisters, my cousins especially Nonoy who never gave up on me. It was an amazing discovery, that all members of my family were willing to help me financially, emotionally and spiritually.

My cousins for the effort of donating blood for my transfusion; staff of Infrastructure Committee for providing blood, Makati City Hall (forgive me, forgot the particular department who gave me 1 bag of blood); Rescue Team of Bgy. Poblacion who served as my transpo (hehehe); Parong family for supporting Nonoy all throughout and being a friend and a mentor to him and other friends who prayed for my recovery.

My brother who shouldered my expenses on my CS operation and medicines, my sister Marivic and Malou who helped us paid our monthly bills, and of course, my parents, Nanay and Tatay for the unconditional love and undying support for me and my family, took care of the kids when I was at the hospital.

Let us not forget all the doctors and nurses of Ospital ng Makati for the job well done.

Thank you so much!
